The Spark Series Vertical PE Rock Climbing Wall is one of the most compact playground climbers that we offer. Rather than protruding outwards from the play structure, it sits directly below the edge of the deck, between two support posts. This means that it does not add any additional space to the play structure’s designated safe use zone, and leaves plenty of extra room for kids to run around. It is also a particularly fun activity, and children will enjoy scrambling up the wall to reach the upper levels of the play structure. This is a moderately easy challenge for most school-aged children, but a more easily accessible piece, such as a transfer station, should also be included on the play structure as an alternate way up. The wall is covered in injection molded plastic hand grips which are bolted to the climbing wall in two places to ensure that they will not come loose.
