The Get Physical Series Rung Challenge Climber turns the traditional overhead ladder not on its head but on its side. Instead of swinging along from bar to bar as in an overhead ladder design, children can cling on as if to the cliff face as they inch their way across the lower bar while using the upper bar for balance. The curvature of these bars, as well as the rungs throughout, provide an extra obstacle that children have to navigate around, adding a challenge that engages a child’s mind and keeps their bodies moving. They can also climb under the lower bar, creating a whole new kind of obstacle for their play. Kids will find plenty of ways to enjoy and conquer this structure, whether they see it as the side of Everest or just a way to challenge themselves to cross the playscape without touching the ground.
